Gondola Square becomes a hub for all things art as the resort hosts the 16th annual Art on the Mountain. Local and visiting artisans have everything from artwork and jewelry to woodwork and clothing. Art on the Mountain is free to attend, but you will surely find something you’ll want to take home. Open 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
FOURTH OF JULY PARADE
The Fourth of July parade in Steamboat Springs is one of the highlights of Cowboy’s Roundup Days. The parade begins at 10:00 am in downtown Steamboat on Lincoln Ava, but you want to be downtown early to find a good seat. Afterwards, head over to the Pioneer Day Block Party on the corner of 8th and Oak streets for food, fun and Routt Beer Floats, or head over to the Jumpin’ & Jammin’ Ski Jumping Competition starting at noon.
FAMILY FUN FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR: JULY 7
Start your weekend with the Coca-Cola Adventure Zone Friday Fun Happy Hour from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The Coca-Cola Adventure Zone will be open with special HALF-PRICE tickets. Kids can play in “the Zone” while the adults can enjoy live music, ½ priced draft beers, wines by the glass and appetizers at the Bear River. A rubber duck race will go off at 5:00 pm sharp on Burgess Creek with prize giveaways for the lucky winners. On Saturday after the Hot Air Balloon Rodeo & Art in the Park, the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. Head back to Steamboat Ski Resort on Saturday night by the base of the Steamboat Ski Area for an evening of sensory delight. View the beauty of six magnificent hot air balloons that will illuminate the Mountain Village. Spectators can stroll among the standing balloons or bring your camp chairs and watch from the slopes of the mountain. Stick around after the Balloon Glow for the first Movies on the Mountain showing.

Steamboat’s new 18-hole mini-golf course is fun for the whole family. KIDS’ ADVENTURE CLUB
This year, give your children the best Steamboat has to offer with the Kids’ Adventure Club/ Specialized daily activities for children ages 3 to 14 include bike rides, swimming, hiking, climbing, arts and crafts activities and much more. For summer 2017, the Kids’ Adventure Club will be open Monday through Friday, through Monday, August 21. We will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 for the federal holiday. Camp is from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Calling all First-Time Riders. Downhill mountain biking can be intimidating at first, so this lesson is tailored towards the first time bike park rider who has spent some time on a bike, but is new to downhill riding. Make the most of your time in the Steamboat Bike Park by taking part of our daily clinics while building skills you will carry with you for a lifetime of cycling! Clinics are offered 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, and additionally from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm on twilight nights. Riders must be a minimum of 8 years old.
There is more to the mountain than just the Bike Park trails, so if you are looking for an experience that takes your beyond all the berms, jumps and drops, consider a tour of the upper mountain that might require a bit of work, but plenty of rewards! Enduro Clinics will be offered from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, and additionally from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm on twilight nights. Riders must be a minimum of 10 years old.
