STEAMBOAT HOLIDAY FESTIVAL – DECEMBER 17

Come to gondola square and celebrate the holiday season Steamboat Style. See Santa ride down the slopes on horseback and meet Santa at his workshop along with some of his favorite reindeer friends. Participate in the stocking scramble and collect free holiday treats at surrounding stores and restaurants. Additional festivities include cookie decorating and a special holiday concert featuring the Face Vocal Band. The party continues after dark with a torchlight parade and fireworks followed by night skiing.

GRAND OPENINGS

GIGGLE GULCH – GRAND OPENING, DECEMBER 15

Who doesn’t have a sweet tooth? Giggle Gulch Candy will be opening its new Gondola Square location on December 15th from 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a rainbow of colorful candy treats. Remember, life is sweet, so live it up and never forget your daily sweet treat!

RYE - GRAND OPENING, DECEMBER 16

Join us for the Grand Opening of Rye December 16, from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm and sample the featured whiskey and wines. Plus, half price shared plates. Rye will be open daily to the public from 11:00 am to close with Happy Hour from 2:00 pm to close.  

MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES

NIGHT SKIING

The Christie Peak Express high-speed chairlift whisks you to the top of Christie Peak (8,000’) on your night adventure.  All levels of skiing and riding will be available. Night skiing is open Thursday-Monday December 14th-18th, then nightly December 21st – January 1st from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm. Night skiing will be closed on Christmas Eve.

OUTLAW MOUNTAIN COASTER

The Outlaw Mountain Coaster is the longest coaster in North America at more than 6,280 linear feet. The track near Christie Peak Express features dips, waves, turns and 360-degree circles. The Outlaw Mountain Coaster is open daily 11:00 am - 4:30 pm through December 13th and 11:00 am – 8:00 pm December 14th -18th. Tickets are available at the Ticket Office or Adventure Depot.

GNARLY CHARLY’S PIZZA

An old favorite returns to the base area when Gnarly Charly’s Pizza opens in Gondola Square. Grab a slice with your favorite toppings on your way to or home from the slopes. Open daily from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

HAZIE’S – Opens December 16

A culinary delight with an incredible view, enjoy seafood, steaks, and wild game. Open for lunch daily from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. Hazie’s lunch buffet will be available beginning December 18th.  Hazie’s dinner is open Thursday through Saturday evenings beginning December 16th.

FOUR POINTS SNOWCAT DINNER  - Opens December 16th
A magical snowcat journey brings you to the ultimate mountaintop retreat, 9,716’ above sea level, for a five-course culinary experience rooted in the traditions and flavors of Northern Italy. Four Points is open for night dining Thursday-Sunday evenings.

WESTERN BBQ – Opens December 16

For the perfect family night out, try out original Western Style BBQ Buffet at the top of the Steamboat Gondola. Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet with a live western rock dance back and a fun family setting looking out over the lights of the valley below. Open Saturdays and Sundays beginning December 16th.
