Low pressure is over the Pacific Northwest, and will strengthen over Utah during the next 48 hours, then remains stationary through early next week. We'll see a gradual increase in moisture leading to more showers and thunderstorms by the weekend and continue into early next week. 

Joe is calling for a low chance of thunderstorms from Noon to 8 pm.

Today-Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming east northeast in the evening.

Friday-A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the morning.

Friday Night-A 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast after midnight.

Saturday-Partly sunny, with a high near 66. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
