I think we're in line for a fairly active afternoon and evening with numerous showers and some thunderstorms over the area. The radar is showing a lot of activity over the southwest part of the state and it'll be moving northward and increasing through the afternoon. A little less activity tomorrow, but still a chance during the latter part of the afternoon. A drier and more stable air mass Thursday, Friday and even most of Saturday. Any activity that may develop in the afternoon is expected to be isolated.

Joe is calling for a Low chance of thunderstorms from Noon to 4 pm; a Moderate chance from then to 8 pm and a Low chance from 8 pm to Midnight. 

Today-Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tonight-Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 38. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming east southeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Wednesday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night-Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 37. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Thursday-Sunny, with a high near 73. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
