Joe Nicholls and Safety Wise Forecast for Monday, April 7, 2014

Ladies & Gents,

We have gone 9 days since our last day lost to a work related injury.

Joe Nicholls: We'll continue to see a fairly moist flow through much of the day, but the moisture layer will be decreasing and most of the snow or snow showers should be across the upper part of the resort. High pressure is moving into the West and we'll see a drier and warmer air mass over the next couple of days. A couple of weak systems will pass by to our north, like later Wednesday and Thursday with mainly some clouds and a slightly cooler air mass. Another system will usher in an even cooler air mass next weekend.

On this date in 1805, Ludwing van Beethoven's "Eroica" symphony premired, conducted by Beethoeven himself. The symphony is widely regarded as a mature expression of the classical style of the late eighteenth century that also exhibits defining features of the romantic style that would hold sway in the nineteenth century.
