Joe Nicholls and NOAA forecast for Wednesday, October 4, 2017

Joe Nicholls

The satellite images are showing some clouds over centraal Nevada and this system will move northeastward toward Montana, and while this system stays well north of the area, it will draw a little moisture northward from New Mexico. So, I'll keep a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the forecast this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. A quiet weekend, at least until Sunday night, when a cold front pushes southward into the area bringing a much cooler air mass Monday and Tuesday, along with a chance of flurries.

A low chance of thunderstorms from 6 to 8 pm.
