The satellite images show the main flow into the Pacific Northwest with a system clipping us on Saturday bringing a slight chance of an isolated thunderstorm. We heat up next week, but with the heat will come the chance of a couple of afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Nothing widespread, just a brief period when there could be a thunderstorm develop.

NOAA - Steamboat Springs

Today - Increasing clouds, with a high near 76. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight - Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Saturday - Partly sunny, with a high near 78. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Saturday Night - Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.

Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 79.

This Day in Music says the following happened on 6/15/77, during Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubiliee, but it really happened on 6/7/77. Either way . . . The Sex Pistols held a party on a boat as it sailed down The River Thames in London. The Pistols performed 'Anarchy In The UK' outside The Houses Of Parliament resulting in members from the party being arrested when the boat docked later that day.
