Joe Nicholls and NOAA forecast for Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Joe Nicholls

Looking like this may be the best day of the week with some sunshine and mild temperatures. The moisture isn't too far away later this afternoon and tonight, but the low pressure developing over Arizona will push that moisture into the area tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. So, definitely and increase in mainly showers along with an isolated thunderstorm. There should be a decrease in activity on Friday and minimal, if any, activity on Saturday. By Sunday, a cold front is possible from the Pacific Northwest, so I'll put a higher chance of precipitation and the air mass could be cold enough to reach the base! Definitely something to keep an eye on!

On this date in 1965, Roger Daltry knocked out Keith Moon resulting in the singer being sacked from The Who. The band were playing two shows in one night in Denmark, when an argument broke about between all four band members. Daltrey was reinstated the following day.
