A little warmer over the next couple of days with the lifted index of -2 this afternoon and again tomorrow afternoon, so like yesterday, we'll see a couple of showers and an isolated thunderstorm. A more organized system will move across the area on Thursday with an increase in the coverage of showers and thunderstorms. Minimal activity on Friday and Saturday, then an uptick in activity on Sunday and into early next week.

On this date in 1987, David Bowie kicked off his 87-date Glass Spider world tour at the Feyenoord Stadium, Rotterdam, Holland. The tour's set, described at the time as "the largest touring set ever," was designed to look like a giant spider. It was 60 feet high, 64 feet wide and included giant vacuumed tube legs that were lit from the inside with 20,000' of color-changing lights. A single set took 43 trucks to move.
