We've seen some decent rainfall amounts in the area over the last 24 hours, and the air mass remains moist and unstable to support more showers and thunderstorms today. Clouds and mainly some light showers this morning and early afternoon, then the potentially heavier showers and thunderstorms mid to late afternoon. The trend through Saturday will be for decreasing activity, but the models do keep enough moisture and instability for a couple of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. I believe we'll see the activity increase again Sunday through Tuesday.
Joe is calling for a low chance of thunderstorms from 9 am to 4 pm; a moderate chance from then until 8 pm, with a moderate chance from 8 pm to Midnight.
