We'll have another nice weather day at the resort, but as the heat builds over the West, we'll see a scattering of afternoon and evening thunderstorms tomorrow through Thursday. A drier, cooler air mass will move into the area Friday through the weekend, as a system moves across the northern Rockies.

1953 Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed at Sing Sing Prison in New York. There execution has been the source of much debate, with their supports saying they were the victims of a government fearful of the Soviets (which it was). It does appear that they were Soviet spies after the revelations of their co-defendant Morton Sobell admitted that they were spies.
