Joe Nicholls and NOAA Forecast for Monday, July 3, 2017

Joe Nicholls

There were a number of showers and thunderstorms over western Colorado and eastern Utah yesterday, and the boundary is still left over the area this morning, as evident with the lingering clouds.I believe we'll see more activity this afternoon, and like yesterday, the bases will be fairly high so rainfall amounts spotty and light. A drier and more stable air mass will be over us tomorrow and Wednesday. By the end of the week, we'll see more of an increase in afternoon and evening thunderstorms, but still scattered in coverage.
