Joe Nicholls and NOAA Forecast for Friday, July 28, 2017

Joe Nicholls

The satellite images show a system over east central Nevada and into northern Utah that the models are handling poorly. This system should bring a little lift to the air mass later this afternoon and evening, so I'll keep the showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. As I look at the pattern through the weekend, and into early next week, I see enough moisture and instability for a chance of a shower or thunderstorm each afternoon and evening with a little more acitivty on Monday and Tuesday.
Joe is calling for a low chance of thunderstorms from Noon to Midnight.
