Joe Nicholls and NOAA Forecast for, Thursday, August 3, 2017

Joe Nicholls

A fair amount of cloudiness over the area this morning, and I expect we'll see an increase in activity fairly early today with the lifted index to -3 prior to noon. The air mass isn't super saturated, so rainfall amounts, if any, will be light. We should see minimal activity tomorrow and Saturday, but I'm going to move the timing up on the convective activity to Sunday and that increase will last into the coming week. The high pressure is shifting away from the area with a weak area of low pressure bringing the increase in moisture!
