The Outlaw Mountain Coaster is nearing completion, with official opening expected to be in early September. When the coaster opens, Adventure Zone passes, with access to all base area activities, gondola rides and one mountain coaster ride, will be $59 for the month of September. Single coaster rides will be available for 20 dollars.
To thank our locals, guests and employees for their patience during summer projects, Steamboat is extending mountain operations — including the gondola, Steamboat Bike Park and Coca-Cola Adventure Zone — to weekends through Oct. 22, 2017, weather dependent. The gondola and Bike Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. while Coca-Cola Adventure Zone activities operate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
This will be the first time summer operations extend into October at Steamboat Ski Resort, providing guests access to the changing seasons via gondola and base area activities. Coca-Cola Adventure Zone activities available during the extended season include the new Outlaw Mountain Coaster, Maverick mini golf, bungee trampoline and climbing wall. During the extended October weekends, Adventure Zone day passes will be $49 and single activity passes, gondola rides and Bike Park tickets will be available. Season passes including Bike Park and 16/17 & 17/18 full winter season passes will be valid through the additional weekends. The Steamboat Bike Shop will be open for guests weekends through Oct. 22 with guided tours and lessons, and the Bear River Bar & Grill will serve a full menu and bar, with additional snacks and bottled drinks available at Thunderhead Shop at the top of the gondola.
